Viking Coca-Cola Helps Raise Nearly $25,000 For Superior Schools In 4 Years
SUPERIOR, WI - Through its ongoing partnership with Viking Coca-Cola & Coca-Cola Beverages of Duluth, the School District of Superior has found new ways to help support our students.
In addition to being the main beverage distributor for Superior Food Service, Coca-Cola Beverages of Duluth offers a special rebate program for area schools. When people in the Twin Ports purchase Powerade through the local Coca-Cola system, a portion of the proceeds is deposited into a separate rebate account. Schools can earn up to $5,000 annually through “Powerade for Schools.” These purchases include sales within SHS and various activities.

For the last eight years, Coca-Cola has presented a check to Superior High School, and in 2026, the school district received $7641.58 based on the prior year’s sales. That money will go towards student leadership & athletic development, yearly equipment updates, and activity staffing.
“It's great to see dollars generated from student and family purchases come right back to support our high school,” said Jamie Wilson, Director of Food Service. “This money helps our student activities, athletic programs, and so much more. We appreciate the partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages of Duluth and the opportunity to turn everyday purchases into real support for our students.”
Thank you to Coca-Cola Beverages of Duluth for providing discounts on bottled and canned beverages for our schools.
